セカンドラインファンクやニューオリンズジャズをベースにしたBLACK BOTTOM BRASS BANDで国内外のライブハウスやフェスを巡り、２６枚のアルバムをリリース。バンド脱退後の2020年、ソロアルバム『emergence』をリリースし、2021年には２枚の７インチをdrop！
Jazz,Raggae,Hip Hop,Rockとジャンルレスな活動を続けているSAX奏者/コンポーザー、MONKY。
そんな二人が出会ったことで始まったこのセッション。
枠に囚われず、音のキャッチボールから生まれるケミストリー。
ILL-SUGIのトラックに触発されて生まれるMONKYのサックスとフルートが奏でるメロディ。
『和』をテーマにお互いのイマジネーションが融合して生まれた新感覚のOriental Chill Mood Music。
第一弾は『KOMADORI』
邦楽の名曲『春の海』にインスパイアされたトラックに、尺八を連想させるフルートが絡み、幾層にも重なったSAXセクションが雅な雰囲気を醸し出すジャパニーズレアグルーヴ！
今後もIll Sugiとのコラボ作品を続けてリリースしていく予定です。

Oriental Chill Mood Music is a new sensation created by fusing each other’s imagination with the theme of “Japanesque”.

A Japanese rare groove with a flute reminiscent of the shakuhachi entwined in a track inspired by the famous Japanese song “Haru no Umi”, and a layered SAX section that creates an elegant atmosphere!
