世界中に渦巻くコロナの鬱積の中で過ごした2020年。
アートワークに描かれた鳥たちは、コロナ禍でライブが出来なくなっても、スタジオに集まり、音楽の中で自由に飛びまわろうとする自分達の姿と重なります。
東京渋谷、最古のライブハウス『BYG』で、メンバー全員が同じ部屋で演奏している音、空気感を録音しました。
瞬間瞬間に生まれてくる音楽を捉えた臨場感溢れるサウンド。
ホーンセクションは後から録音しましたが、メインの楽器は全て同時に録音しています。
その音源をHiroyuki Sanadaが丁寧にミックス＆マスタリング。
リスニングにもフロアにも対応できる上質な音に仕上がっています。
ストリート感溢れるポップなアートワークはMasayuki Shinha。
渦巻く雷雲の中を突き抜けようとする鳥達を描いてくれました。

The sexiness, thrill, and warm exuberance of jazz music travel around in this danceable jazz bliss. The most “new,” “advanced,” “deep,” and “true” form.
The year 2020 spent in the midst of the corona depression swirling around the world.
The birds depicted in the artwork overlap with the image of themselves, gathered in the studio and trying to fly freely in the music, despite the fact that the Corona disaster prevented them from performing live.
Taking advantage of the sound of BYG, the oldest live music club in Shibuya, Tokyo, we recorded that sound with all the members playing in the same room.
The sound is full of realism, capturing the music as it emerges moment by moment.
The horn section was recorded later, but all the main instruments were recorded at the same time.
The sound source was carefully mixed and mastered by New York-based engineer Hiroyuki Sanada.
The result is a high-quality sound that is suitable for both listening and floor use.
The streetwise pop artwork is by Masayuki Shinha.
He depicted birds trying to break through the swirling thunderclouds.
